Panama

Cold Hardiness: 

30-32, F.

Trunk type:

Miniature, thin trunk.

Leaf type:

Simple, bifid; somewhat of a metallic sheen; leaflet is coreaceous, with a "Pringle Potato Chip" type of surface  

Suckering/Solitary:

Single

Maintenance:

Likes moisture, protection, and shade

Speed of growth:

Slow

Height:

Under18 inches maximum

Soil requirements:

Adequate moisture and good drainage

None

General Description:

A cute miniature palm named after Pauleen Sullivan (famous in the Palm Society) and her late husband (a noted Santa Barbara, CA palm enthusiast) 

Other Notes:

Extremely rare and hard to find; expensive.  On occasion we do have plants available.
