Malaysia to Indonesia, mountain areas

Cold Hardiness: 

Uncertain, probably near 32, F.

Trunk type:

Single, some light fiber.

Leaf type:

Bipinnate and fishtail.

Suckering/Solitary:

Solitaire, (single trunk).

Maintenance:

Average in the right area.  Quick growing.

Speed of growth:

Rapid

Height:

Very tall, perhaps approaching 100 feet

Full sun

General Description:

A true "giant" of a palm.

Rare to cultivation but sometimes available
