Decumbent (prostrate on the ground with the apex ascending).  1-6 feet.

Leaf type:

Blue fan., petioles are armed with spines

Easy

Very slow

3-6 feet.

Soil requirements:

Sandy with good drainage.

Sun Requirements:

Partial to full sun.

General Description:

This is one of the most sought after Braheas.  It is known for its phenomenal blue color.  It is a dwarf which complements many types of plants.  If you can find it is certainly worth growing.

Other Notes:

This palm is great for people all over California.  It is not only cold hardy, but is also a very handsome dwarf palm.
