RARE & EXOTIC SPECIES |
Jungle Music offers the largest selection of exotic and rare palm trees, cycads
and tropical plants anywhere!
We propagate our own plant material and are not just a broker of plants f
rom others
We have an active program of seed germination and plant conservation.
Our goal is to propagate the most exotic species in the world.
People order from us throughout the United States and every day we have
visitors from far away, just to see our inventory.
No other nursery matches our overall selection of rare and exotic species
of palm trees and cycads for sale
HOW DO I FIND THE PRICES ON PLANTS? |
In general, palms are sold by their container size. There are some exceptions.
Cycads are sold by the plant, or caudex size
Our prices have essentially not gone up in over five years
As we sell so many species, our price list is quite long, but at this website
HOW DO I CHECK AVAILABILITY OF PLANTS? |
Our availability of species is continually changing as some things sell out and
others become available
Our price lists linked above are a good guide on availability although they are
not always totally up to date
THE BEST THING TO DO IS TO JUST CALL OR EMAIL US AND CHECK
AVAILABILITY AND SIZES OF WHAT YOU WANT
You can also read our New Arrivals Plant Blog which lists specials and new
plants we've just gotten in
DO WE DO MAIL ORDERS OR OFFER DELIVERY? |
YES TO BOTH! And, our shipping and arrival quality is second to none!
We utilize Federal Express for most of our
smaller mail orders and ship
plants in their containers with soil. (This minimizes|
immediate losses
on arrival and prevents the universal one year set back with bare root plants)
For larger orders we use independent
trucking services and often put plants
on pallets (see photos below).
Charges for s/h include a "box fee" (or handling).
This covers the cost of the
shipping materials and labor to package the plants. Then, the Fed Express fee
is added to this.
This box fee varies from $15 to $30, depending on the size of
the plant you purchase. Some larger plans can take 3
boxes telescoped for
just one plant.
We can ship with soil because we are a complete California Certified Nursery.
All required agricultural permits arrive with your plants. This is actually
required in all states but few nurseries conform.
Orders are processed and usually shipped within 24 hours. Plants arrive to you
in one to five days, depending on
where you live.
We ship to any locality within the United States
Larger plants or large orders are typically delivered either by us locally
or by independent trucking companies to anywhere within the U.S.
We do not ship internationally and cycads are for U.S. domestic usage only
We DO NOT HAVE AN ONLINE SHOPPING CART because we've found
that so many customers just don't know what to order and need guidance in
ordering and caring for the plants. Over the phone we offer guidance and
can make sure you get the right plants for your specific needs.
When needed, we can photograph and email you photographs of the exact
plants you'd be receiving by mail order

DO WE OFFER HELP WITH ORDERING OR CONSULTATION ON PLANT CULTURE? |
From Monday through Saturday we typically have three experienced sales
representatives who
can guide you through
your selections (photos below)
We always consider your local conditions and winter cold temperatures when
suggesting species
Jointly, our three sales people have approximately sixty years of experience
growing palms
and cycads
Phil Bergman, the owner, is past President of both the International Palm
Society and the
Palm Society of So California
Our website, www.junglemusic.net, was the first commercial website in
the
world specializing
in palms and cycads and
is known worldwide as being one
of the most educational websites on
the subject
If you prefer reading on your own, our website has over fifty articles on
culture and over
six thousand photographs of plants
