How To Mail Order

Step One Select the plants you wish to purchase.
Please refer to the various listings we have on other pages (also use links below). If you don't know for sure, just call us and we'll help you select the right plants. Our plants are typically very large for their container size and are beautifully grown. Most of our customers comment on the great quality of our plants. All plants have seen a minimum of 38 degrees during the winter. Most palm/cycad enthusiasts have very good luck with our plants.

Step Two Contact us to confirm availability.
You can do this by phone, fax, or email. When you contact us, we will confirm plant availability. The quickest method is simply to call us and you can usually get availability right on the spot. We will pick you the largest plant available in the size you selected. Remember there is a minimum on mail orders of $100.00 plus shipping and handling. (see explanation below). Remember, to most areas we do not ship during the Winter.

Step Three Place your order via email, fax or phone.
We prefer phone orders because it's quick and easy. This way we can talk about your order and give you cultural advice. We'll need your name, shipping and billing address and credit card information. We can estimate the shipping and handling charges you will incur. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, personal checks and money orders/cashier's checks. Credit card information can be given over the phone or faxed to us. With personal checks, shipping must await clearance of payment.

Step Four Your plants are shipped.
We obtain a phytosanitary permit for your order if it is needed to your locality. The plants are subsequently shipped promptly, typically utilizing Federal Express or another common carrier. Plants are professionally packed. We receive lots of feedback on the quality packing of plants received. Realize there is a fee for the Agricultural Department phytosanitary permit. The most popular size for shipping is the 5g plant. 15g size are possible, but the S/H charges are much greater. Call for details.

	How To Mail Order Mail orders are possible to most areas within the United States during the warmer months from March through November. Basically, it's as simple as just calling us at 619 291 4605 and ask if we have what you want.. We field calls during work hours and early evening Pacific Coast time. The best time to call is about 8:30 AM, Pacific Coast Time. We are presently shipping to most states including Florida. Many states do require a phytosanitary permit with the order. We do not ship internationally

Why we have a minimum order?

Simply put, because we offer a great product and the best service and delivery around. The staff that prepare your order are professionals. Every order gets special attention. We do not utilize the U.S. Postal Service because they typically cannot accommodate the needs of our customers. We only utilize Federal Express, UPS or DHL. We select the largest plants in our stock that match your requests. We do not send you our "runts". We quickly prepare (depending on any agricultural inspection delays) the box for shipment and get your order out as fast as we can. If you wish, you can have your order in less than 24 hours with rush shipping. Be aware that with our mail order service you are paying the same price as someone who walks into the nursery. Our "bands" are usually bigger than other company's one gallons. So, why a minimum? Because such quality material and service by professional plant people doesn't come for free. We think people who select our plants want the best plants and the best service around. This is why we keep getting repeat business from our existing customers.
